Despite the fact that 86% of adults aged 55-64 believe that the state pension will not support them in retirement, almost half of them have no financial arrangements in place for when they retire, according to a study by market researchers TNS. Two-thirds of this age group are concerned that they will not have sufficient funds on retirement and 70% expect their standard of living to fall.
