The survey also found that 54% of retirees have not had to make any financial adjustments to their lifestyle in retirement and another 20% have only needed to make minor changes, such as buying fewer clothes or eating out less frequently.

According to a survey by the TIAA, over half of adults (58%) feel confident that they can successfully turn their retirement savings into income when they stop working.
