22 Apr 2009 Australia Investment - Performance, Countries - excl. European Union and US
According to a survey by SuperRatings, Australia's major super funds reported their first positive monthly return in six months with a median gain of 2.24% in March. However, the report finds that this was below expectations considering the month's 8% increase in world share markets and suggests that fund returns have been affected by a rising Australian dollar and the continuing revaluations of unlisted assets.

26 Mar 2008 Australia Investment - Performance, Countries - excl. European Union and US
The ongoing slide of both domestic and international share markets continues to flow straight through to Australia’s major super funds, with the median fund losing a further 0.86% during February. This means that the median balanced investment option as at 29 February was sitting on a 4.0% loss since 1 July last year. Super funds have currently retreated a further 2.2% during March which means that a climb back to positive territory by 30 June would require a further 10% plus gain from the various markets.
