Survey of German and Austrian institutional investors
RCP & Partners
Apr 2003 Germany, Austria Investment - Management, Investment - General
The survey particularly concentrates on institutional investors' intentions regarding the disposition and management of their assets. Comparing its findings with the previous surveys, it discerns an increasingly critical and demanding response to the poor performance of managers in recent years.

Survey of Pension Funds in French Speaking Switzerland (abstract)
Survey of pension funds across French-speaking Switzerland
RCP & Partners
Oct 2002 Switzerland Investment - Management
This survey of pension funds across French-speaking Switzerland received responses from 50 funds (11%) representing total assets of more than CHF 39 billion. Respondents include large-size funds (9), mid-size funds (11) and small-size funds (30). A large majority (80%) of them are private funds. It shows that outsourcing of asset management is used by two thirds of funds but that 31% of these underestimate the elements of risk in these relationships.

Pension Funds in Switzerland and their Fiduciary Relations
How pension funds perceive and manage fiduciary relations
RCP & Partners
Oct 2002 Switzerland Investment - Management
The objective of this survey of 86 pension funds in the French and German-speaking parts of Switzerland, covering over CHF 40 billion worth of pension fund assets, was to establish how pension funds perceive fiduciary relations and the means they use to manage those relations. Fiduciary relations are limited exclusively, in the survey, to the asset management side of the balance sheet. Results show that  the majority of Swiss pension funds are not adequately geared to face up to today’s market conditions, exposing beneficiaries in defined-contribution (DC) plans to increased risk.
