Principles for Responsible Investment
Dec 2016 WORLDWIDE Investment - Ethical and SRI
The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) has published the "Global Guide to Responsible Investment Regulation", which reveals that some responsible investment regulation is useful in terms of increasing awareness of environmental, social and corporate governance but also that, investors are still sceptical about whether or not this regulation is driving real change. The report considers almost 300 pieces of regulation covering pension fund rules, stewardship codes and corporate disclosure rules and includes interviews with policymakers, investors and stock exchanges in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Principles for Responsible Investment
16 Jul 2009 WORLDWIDE Investment - Ethical and SRI
A significant number of mainstream investors have "turned a corner" on how they put responsible investment into practice according to new data from the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI). Almost 300 global pension funds and fund managers, all signatories to the PRI, were surveyed on how they have been implementing the six responsible investment Principles and the results found that in the last year, there was a 25% increase in the number of asset owners, such as pension funds, putting responsible investment elements into contracts for the external managers of their investments (from 38% last year to 63% this year).
