Old Mutual Wealth has published its first Retirement Income Uncovered report, which surveys over 1,500 people between the ages of 50 and 75 about the expectation and reality of retirement income. The survey finds that retirees who consulted a financial adviser at least once have an average retirement income of £20,800 per year, compared to £17,500 for those who had not set themselves an income target.
