A new report entitled "The Priorities of Pension Reform" from the National Pensioners Convention (NPC) criticises the recent recommendations made by the Pensions Commission and concludes that the needs of Britain’s 11m existing pensioners must be addressed if there is to be a genuine consensus on pension reform. The report also calls on the government to raise the basic state pension for all pensioners as a matter of urgency.
