According to the financial literacy and retirement readiness study conducted by Mercer Wealth Solutions, launched today, working Australians will rely heavily on superannuation to fund their retirement despite having limited knowledge about both their main super fund and their non-super investments. The survey found that those with low levels of financial literacy have a greater propensity to rely on Government assistance once retired and are less confident in making financial decisions at home and in the workplace.
