According to research conducted by Just Retirement, between two and three million retirees are missing out on hundreds of pounds as they are unaware of their entitlements. The report showed that in 2011 a fifth of pensioners were failing to claim any benefits including pension credits, an increase of 2% from 2010.

According to new research from Just Retirement, more than half of respondents between the ages of 55 and 64 said that their property would play a key role in financing their later years. The research also revealed that 44% believed that their employer pension would be the main source of their income.
