Consumers feel personal finances and national economy on an upswing, new Chase survey says

According to the annual Chase Pulse of the Consumer Survey, 65% of Americans believe that their personal finances have already bottomed out and are either stable or getting better compared to just 56% at this time last year. Despite almost two-thirds of consumers (64%) saying their second biggest financial worry is saving for retirement, only 34% have been saving more money for retirement since the economic downturn.
