Staying afloat in retirement
IRESS
Jul 2017 United Kingdom Annuities and Income Drawdown, Investment - General
According to the  latest retirement report from IRESS, retirement consists of phases and income planning is no longer a one-off decision. The report shows that 23% of annuity quotes are now for fixed-term products, up from 15% at the end of 2015. The increasing presence of equity release, with volumes up 34% compared to a year ago also shows a demand for more flexible options.
