According to a report by the International Longevity Centre UK and supported by Royal London, individuals who sought financial advice in the 2001-2007 period accumulated significantly more liquid financial assets and pension wealth than their counterparts who did not seek financial advice by 2012-14. "The Value of Financial Advice" report also found that around 40% of individuals who took out an investment product over the past few years did not take advice, rising to 78% of people who took out a personal pension.
