According to results from Horwath Clark Whitehill's occupational pension schemes survey: Building on Standards of Investment Governance, one third of respondents said they had identified investment exposures that they were not aware of when they initially decided to invest. The survey also showed that trustees are struggling to understand complex investment and find there is a lack of transparency and explanation of investment risk.
