According to a report from the Forum of Private Business and Clifton Asset Management, owners of small and medium-sized businesses have unrealistic expectations of their pension funds. Of the 1200 business owners surveyed, 42% anticipate retiring aged 70 or later, or not retiring at all. The report also revealed that 45% of these business owners feared that they would outlive their retirement funds.
