Research from Fidelity has revealed that advisers are becoming increasingly worried about further cuts to the Lifetime Allowance and Annual Allowance, with 47% of those surveyed citing a major reform of pension tax relief as a major concern. The biggest concern, however, is unforeseen legislative changes, with 66% of advisers worried about what else may be sprung on the industry.

Three out of every five advisers (64%) in the UK believe the scope and range of investment options available within a SIPP are key when making client recommendations relating to retirement planning, according to research by Fidelity FundsNetwork. The majority of advisers (78%) believe that the ability to invest directly into Unit Trusts and OEICS is one of the most attractive assets of any SIPP, with 63% of the opinion that the ability to invest in commercial property is key.
