The expectations of trustees regarding performance and delivery in the annual pensions audit is remarkably high and adaptability is key to being a good pensions auditor, according to a survey by Crowe Clark Whitehill. 96% of respondents rated technical knowledge and expertise as eight or higher in the ratings scale of importance, while 88% rated delivery in accordance with timetable and fees.
