According to research from Castle Trust, 13% of working adults plan to downsize their home to help fund all or part of their retirement. The research revealed that 11% of those seeking to downsize their property intend to purchase a house which is at least 50% cheaper in order to fund their retirement, whilst 4% plan to sell their home and not buy another property.
