Jul 2012 United Kingdom State Pensions, Pensioners & Retirement
A YouGov survey of more than 1,000 members of the 18-24 age group has been commissioned by British Future to find out more about how young people feel and what they see as their biggest challenges in the current economic climate. According to the report entitled "Generation 2012: Optimism Despite Obstacles", when asked if the Government should take away winter fuel allowance and state pensions from the older generation paying higher rate tax and use that money to help others, 18-24s were less likely to agree (32%) than adults generally (43%).
