The Barings UK Pensions Survey 2010 found that two-thirds of pension professionals remain concerned about the current market volatility. Of those polled, 50% said they had recently changed the asset allocation of their fund, with 69% increasing their exposure to alternatives and 61% decreasing their exposure to equities. The survey also found that 44% of respondents are looking for greater diversification of their assets.
