11 Dec 2014 United Kingdom State Pensions, Pension Reform, Pensioners & Retirement, Funding and Minimum Funding Requirement
Analysis of 10,000 active pension planners by pensions consultancy Avacade Future Solutions has revealed that the average fund size is just £33,000, leaving pensioners with a weekly disposable income of £39.66 if they were to retire now. This means that even with the state pension, retirees will not have enough money to cover the cost of living.
