New research by Amicus reveals that age discrimination is a problem for both young and older IT workers and the union is calling on employers to start negotiations to tackle the issue a year before legislation is introduced. A survey of 500 IT workers, conducted by the Labour Research Department on behalf of Amicus, shows that 71% of respondents believe their employer treats people less favourably because of age.
